Moves to new facility to support continued growth.
March 3, 2014
By: Tim Wright
Editor-in-Chief, Contract Pharma
On March 7, 2014, Superior Felt & Filtration is moving to a new state-of-the-art facility at 1150 Ridgeview Drive in McHenry, IL. The company says the move is necessary to facilitate growth across a wide spectrum of industries it serves. The move will place corporate offices, manufacturing and distribution divisions all under one roof. “With this move, our goal is to continue to streamline the ability to provide our growing customer base with high quality products and great customer service,” says Frank Porto, director of sales. Superior Felt & Filtration manufactures nonwoven textiles servicing many industries including medical, industrial, hygienic, cosmetic, automotive, filtration, decorative and appliance markets, and exports its products globally. Manufacturing and distribution capabilities allow Superior to offer a diverse range of felt and filtration products from roll goods to finished components. From pressed wool felts to needle punch synthetic, Superior also offers many value added services including adhesive coating, die cutting, slitting, packaging and printing, and is an ISO 9001 company. The newly expanded facility, which is expected to double its size in the next three years, will maintain its offering of environmentally controlled white room fabrication for the high efficiency filtration markets says the company. This includes medical filtration applications, as well as high efficiency industrial markets. Superior is the North American distributor and convertor of Technostat medical grade tribo-electric.
